Incentive Pool

The Hughes Charitable Foundation is generously providing a $1,000,000 gift again this year to inspire donors to give on WyoGives Day.

This is set up as an Incentive Pool for select nonprofits based on location and longevity. To participate in the Pool, nonprofits must meet qualifications determined by the Hughes Charitable Foundation and complete a process to qualify and be approved for participation.

Nonprofits: You can find information on the HCF Incentive Pool in WyoGives Connect, which is the online communication platform for all participating organizations. The deadline to qualify was July 14, 2025.

Donors: Nonprofits participating in the pool have been instructed to include the HCF Incentive Pool information in their profiles. Donors who make an online donation on WyoGives.org on July 16th to these organizations will have their donation boosted. The $1,000,000 Incentive Pool will be distributed to qualifying nonprofits based on their online fundraising totals. Each nonprofit's payout will be proportional to the total online amount raised by all HCF participating organizations, with a maximum payout limit per organization of $10,000 or $15,000 (dependent on the location of headquarters). Please note that participating nonprofits are prohibited from taking offline donations (e.g., checks) and using their credit card to make these contributions online.

Many nonprofits secure a match for their WyoGives campaign (individual donor, company, etc.). The matching donor and the nonprofit set the match parameters. These matches can be found here.
